| Bio: | Well, I haven't really touched this since '05-'06, so I'll revise it again by elaborating some basic facts about myself [but nothing incriminating, though].
LOCATION: Greenville, NC
RACE/ETHNITICITY: Afro-American [my great-grandmother (on my father's mother's side) was Cherokee Indain and I think there's a some of Jamacian (???) on my father's father side]
Hobbies: Playing piano, listening to music, surfing the Internet, watching television [although there ain't much up there remotely worth watching], sleeping in, reading fanfiction, and other stuff I can't think of now...
Favorite Bands/Groups: Hanson [about 11 years strong now], Destiny's Child and Panic(!) At The Disco
FAVORITE VOCALISTS [in no particular order]: Fantasia, Josh Groban, Amy Winehouse, Joss Stone, Stevie Wonder, Luther Vandross, Pink, Vanessa Carlton, Alicia Keys, etc.
Member here since: Mid-November of '05; active here since November '07... and that's b/c of the slashfic primarily, among a few other reasons [like the icons, graphics and secrets communities].
SMOKE?: No.
DRINK?: Hell, no; it's DUMB when people get drunk. I've tasted alcohol before [it's been more than 7 years since], but other than that I've never been drunk...
SMOKE WEED?: Nopers [except for health reasons... just kiddin'...]
DO DRUGS?: I never...
Curse/Swear?: Yes, but only b/c it's a dispicable habit I've had since the tender age of 13 [and the 7th grade]
Lefty or Right-handed?: Right-handed; everyone in my immediate family is. Does being somewhat ambidextrious count?
CHILDREN?: Nope. I may want some in the future, but for now I'm undecided. If I do have any, I ask God ev'ry single day to give me only ONE and ONE only.
Any Nieces/Nephews?: A total of 6, but I only have direct contact with 4 of them
PET PEEVES: Too many to name right now.
RELIGION: I definitely believe in God [I've seen too much of evidence of His existence to not to], but I guess it's safe to say that I'm not the most religious person [Is that a good thing?]. For example, The Big Dipper is one of the most magnificent proofs of God's very existence [and His handiwork]; although I'm not familiar w/ the rest of the constellations, The Big Dipper definitely steals the show, and I can't stop staring at it when I'm out [on clear nights, of course].
How many siblings?: An older and younger sister; my mother also has a much older daughter from a previous marital relationship [although I don't lay much claim to that loudmouth... and don't ask why]
How many Aunts/Uncles?: A total of 15; an aunt and uncle on my father's side and 8 aunts/5 uncles on my mother's side, although I'm estranged from practically ALL of them
Favorite Vacation Spot(s): London, England and New York, mainly
Shy or Outgoing: VERY shy; it sometimes causes me to miss out, but it's okay...
My LJ Note: I also wanna add that I'll friend anyone who befriends me back [as in a mutual type thing, 'cuz I'm not like that, like another LJ bitch I know]. I will, however [weed out] and defriend people who haven't friended me back because 1)I have no use for their LJ page 2) if they delete their account 3) I'm not into [or fall out with] them and/or their fan ficition altogether.
If you have no intentions of befriending me back, then I'm de-friending you. I used to add people for superficial reasons, but I don't add people anymore unless I like their fanfic [or for other significant reasons or whatever]. If you want me to defriend you, then let me know [via PM, because I don't really like people spamming my journal with comments that aren't related to my entries in any way whatsoever because that's just annoying; my PM feature is enabled for a reason], because I just don't always have the time. That way my profile page is spared a lot of unessesary clutter and excess baggage.
But on the other hand [before some of you jump the gun and think I'm being mean-spirited or manipulative and start hurling rotten fruit and tomatoes at me], if you have a (sticky) post [in your journal] that's a 'Friends Only' one, then that's a different story. If I really like your fiction [or you as you are], then I'll gladly comment to be added. I hope that settles things. *winks* |
